His Word is Truth

Unadulterated Biblical Truth

Misconception that "all you need is faith only"

This page is in development.

There is a false teaching and misconception being taught to the people that you gain eternal life and are highly righteous and good through just having faith, and that you do not need to do anything else, other than say you believe in the Messiah.

Sometimes they may take it further than just saying you don't have to do anything, but even suggest that you actually shouldn't do anything.

Those teaching this want you to just claim faith in the Messiah, then you can go through life seeking your own worldly desires and goals, never actually putting effort into hearing the Word and the Bible, just happily and peacefully waiting out your time here so that you can be summoned to the Messiah when he returns to rule, and be welcomed into the perfect beautiful kingdom of
YHWH and rewarded greatly.

This false teaching, like most other misconceptions, is being taught in varying degrees and may not be worded exactly like this by the modern teachers, but this is the basic idea.

This false teaching's influence is showing through in the thoughts and actions of the people.

Now 1st off, there is a saying that "if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably isn't true", and this false teaching should easily stand out to us like that, and arouse our suspicion so that we make sure to investigate further into the matter, before blindly accepting it.

This lie is mainly from a misunderstanding of words and points from the New Testament, people are seeing the verses in 2D and black and white, when they need to see in 3D and in color.

Eternal life comes through obedience to
YHWH our Creator and Father, we have all fallen short by sinning at least once and many of us will likely stumble in 1 way or another from time to time.

Because we have stumbled and was lost is why
YHWH redeemed us through his son Yahushua by pardoning our sins through faith in the name of Yahushua the Messiah.

YHWH wants us to be perfect so through his love and kindness he made it possible for us to become blameless and justified in his sight so that he can accept us.

I may insert here the verses that are being confused and twisted later, but until then I will just jump to the counter-verses to expose the false teachings.

I will share scriptures that show this doctrine of men is not from the Bible, and not in line with it.

The disciple James perfectly contradicts the false teaching.
Due to this fact, men claiming to be Christians in the past have tried to get the words of James removed from the Bible.
I've also heard they've tried to get the letters of Peter removed since he rebukes lawless people twisting Paul's writings, and there are other writings kept out of the modern Bible that specifically condemn what is happening in modern Christianity.

James in the Bible actually plainly rebukes the false idea;

James 2:14 "What does it profit if someone says they have faith, but does not have works? Can that faith save him?"

James 2:17 "Faith is dead without works"

James 2:18 "But someone will say, 'you have faith and I have works', show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works"

James 2:20 "But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"

James 2:21 "Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son on the altar? See you, how faith worked with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which said, Abraham believed Elohim, and it was imputed to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of Elohim. You see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only"

James 2:25 "Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?"

James 2:26 "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also"

Many actually jump to an incorrect conclusion that there is some sort of contradiction in the Bible, they think 1 part says we need works, and another says we don't need works, but their error is from failing to read in context, and choosing to ignore the scriptures and only see what they want to see.

Many are claiming to follow Paul and is why they refuse to accept that they should ever have to do works, yet it was James who was 1 of the 12 with the Messiah, not Paul, and anyway they're taking Paul out of context and even ignoring Paul, so they're not really following Paul.

Paul, when teaching about those matters that can be mixed up by the unlearned, clearly told us certain things so we wouldn't take him the wrong way, for example;

Paul;
Romans 3:31 "Do we then abolish the law by this faith? Of course not! Instead, we uphold the law"

Paul clearly told us this faith does not abolish the law, and this is in line with the Messiah telling us to not think he came to abolish the law, and that the heavens and the earth would perish before the law!

So please read your Bible instead of letting the satan, and the *servants of the satan be your guide.
(*We do not have to be fully aware that we're servants of evil, to indeed be such.)

Further in the same letter to the Romans, Paul told us this;

Paul;
Romans 8:6 "For to be 'of the flesh' minded is death, but to be 'spiritually' minded is life and peace because the 'of the flesh' mind is hostile against Elohim for it is not subject to the Law of Elohim, nor indeed can be"

Modern teachers may be claiming to you that they are following Paul when they teach you wicked doctrines, yet Romans is the very 1st letter from Paul inside of the Bible.. Have they still not finished reading the very 1st letter to learn such information yet?
Shouldn't they at least have finished reading Paul's 1st letter before stepping up as a "teacher"? And before they started claiming to be a witness to what Paul and the Bible says?

Anyway, how many pastors have shared these facts to you?

I have taken out the actual words of Paul before to those going around teaching abolishment of the Law from faith in the Messiah, and they suddenly decided to casually not answer my questions and end our social interaction and be on their way.

So again, Paul said;
Life and peace from being subject to the Law of YHWH!
Those who are of the flesh are the ones hostile against YHWH and his Law, and this is "death"!

If 1 truly had real faith, they should obey YHWH and his son, and their faith would become evident from those works/actions, yet the people who are claiming they have faith are being obedient to doctrines of men rather than YHWH and his son.

It obviously takes more than a faith in the name to be pardoned from our sins;
Paul;
Hebrews 10:26 "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins"

Ezekiel 18:24 "But when the righteous man repents from his righteousness and commits evil and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All of his righteousness that he has done will be forgotten in his trespass that he has trespassed and in his sin that he has sinned, in them shall he die"

Breaking the Law is what sin is, whoever abides in Messiah does not sin/break the law, that's more than only having faith in his name;
1 John 3:4 "Whoever commits sin breaks also the law for sin is the breaking of the law, and you know that
Yahushua was manifested to take away our sins and in him is no sin, whoever abides in Yahushua sins not, whosoever sins has not seen him neither have they known him
Little children let no man deceive you, he who does Righteousness is Righteous even as
he is righteous, He who commits sin is of the devil for the devil sinned from the beginning for this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil"

The very person they have faith in is telling us clearly how to have Eternal life, yet his words are twisted to fit to modern doctrines of men;
Matthew 19:16 "And behold, one came and said to
Yahushua, good lord, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? And he said to him why call me good? There is none good but one, that is Elohim, but if you will enter into eternal life, keep the commandments."

Again, another example showing it's not faith alone;

John 3:36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him"

Not only are people twisting the scriptures and using them out of context, but they attack all of the scriptures that show that they're wrong in their understanding.

They say works can not save you, so scriptures that implies you are saved by works they attack, and many of the old leaders of modern Christianity even tried to get the books they didn't like taken out of the Bible.
They succeeded in getting some removed, and also prevented  having some in it at all, and when you look at what some of those books have in common that these people do not like, they may promote obedience to the commandments of YHWH, and have such clear statements against lawlessness that they would be difficult to twist into supporting lawless denominations.

I mentioned this above, but there is also another book in the bible that it may shock you to know some attempted to have it pulled, and that is Revelation.

Yahushua the Messiah in Revelation rebukes the poisonous lies of modern teachings, these are things written after he was put to death and raised back to life and ascended to his father YHWH, so don't let the liars try to tell you all that he said before his sacrifice faded away and it's different now!

They say works have nothing to do with your salvation, here we clearly see we are judged by our works;
Revelation 10:12 "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened, Then another book was opened, which is the book of life, And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to their works, And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hell gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to their works. Then Death and Hell were thrown into the lake of fire, This is the second death; the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire"

The Dragon is the Satan;
Revelation 12:17 "Then the Dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, those who obey the commandments of Elohim and hold to the testimony of
Yahushua"

Revelation 22:14 "Blessed are those that do his commandments so that they may have the right to the tree of life"
