His Word is Truth

Unadulterated Biblical Truth

title

We must "Obey the laws of the land" is another common phrase thrown around by modern denominations.

I read all of the scriptures and never learned that we must obey the laws of the land, but instead I learned the opposite, which is to obey only
YHWH and know that he is the ONLY law giver, and if a man made law is created that will cause me to disobey YHWH then I must ignore the man made law even if it means I will be tortured and put to death.
Are those teaching this going to obey the "law of the land" to take the mark of the beast and to worship the beast? If they answer no, then are they not proving their teaching is false?

Also what about people who get arrested today for simply trying to feed homeless and hungry?
(It really happens; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQZjXDuGh6Y)

Acts 5:29 "Then Peter and the apostles said, it is necessary to obey Elohim rather than men"

I will never understand what sort of logic is being used when this is brought up to rebuke YHWH's instructions in the bible, and also as if they can undo a fact because of some law/tradition created by men.

While there is some truth to we should obey the laws of the land, it is by no means a commandment to obey men, just for an example, if the speed limit is 1MPH and you go 2MPH then you are of course not sinning(Though if you drive recklessly and put other peoples lives in danger then behavior like this can become sin)
However if it is not transgressing the Law of YHWH and is no trouble to you to obey the 1MPH speed limit, then you should obey it so you do not bring an unnecessary trouble on yourself and family, or a bad image on yourself, we need to be good representatives of
YHWH, his Messiah our Master, and the Gospel while we are in exile in this foreign land.

If going 1MPH will help us spread Truth then I think by all means we should go 1MPH.

Think of the book Daniel at chapter 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was commanded by the King of Babylon to fall down and worship a golden idol.. This was a law of the land but they refused to obey it and was cast into a hot furnace as punishment.
YHWH sent an angel to save them from the fire and the fire did not burn them neither did the smoke from the fire even stick on them! Afterwards the king made it a law to not speak anything bad against their Elohim YHWH and he also promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon!

Also Daniel himself in Daniel chapter 6 knew it was a "law of the land" to not pray to
YHWH his Elohim yet he continued to pray to YHWH 3 times a day.
His punishment was to be cast into a den of lions, Daniel was cast into the den of lions to be killed but
YHWH sent his angel to deliver Daniel and he was not harmed and then after this the King was praising the Elohim of Daniel and made it a law that all the men in his kingdom tremble and fear before YHWH the Elohim of Daniel!

These men by esteeming YHWH over men, brought glory and honor to YHWH.

I will show where this misconception mainly comes from;

Paul;
Romans 13:1 "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities, For there is no authority except from Elohim, and those that exist have been instituted by Elohim, Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what Elohim has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment, For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad, Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is the servant of Elohim for your good, But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain, For he is the servant of Elohim, an avenger who carries out the wrath of Elohim on the wrongdoer, Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid the wrath of Elohim, but also for the sake of conscience, For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are servants of Elohim, attending to this very thing, Pay to all what is owed to them, taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed"

False teachers are saying this is talking about their governments, such as the United States government, the President, police officers, etc..
The wicked rulers of this world(Remember the Satan is the chief of them!) would love for all humans to believe they must obey everything they are told today, and this misconception gives them great power to control us and sway us far away from the narrow path to life. The pope under his authority has decided to make it law that we do not keep the 7th day sabbath of
YHWH on the 7th day of the week, but instead keep a special day on the 1st day of the week, now who do we obey?
This man who makes himself elohim when he is really nothing?
Or the one true Elohim
YHWH who created everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th day and blessed it and set it apart, telling us to do the same on the 7th day?

Moving on, some are saying every ruler is from YHWH, have a look at these words from YHWH himself;

Hosea 8:4 "They have set up kings, but not by me. They have made princes, and I knew it not"

That shows a contradiction, if YHWH has appointed every single ruler on this earth and we must obey them all as modern Christians teach, why has YHWH spoken in the above verse showing us men have set up kings and it had nothing to do with his will, and that they made princes apart from him?

YHWH indeeds allows men to be set up as rulers, but this doesn't mean he has set those men up as rulers over us, to where we must obey them because they are anointed by YHWH.
We are told who our authorities are.
Basically concerning authority;
Children < Wife < Husband < Messiah < YHWH.

When we read Paul say there is no authority except from YHWH, this verse when understood actually teaches that there is no authority/government other than YHWH's authority, meaning the United States government or any other government of the world is nothing since it was not appointed by YHWH to be over us, it was created by men.
Even IF the U.S. government was at one time blessed by YHWH, this does not mean they are any authority that has power over us.

I must mention that some Bible translations have twisted this section so much that they actually say to obey the government of men and that they are all from YHWH even police officers, yes I seen a translation actually wrongfully put police officer in the verse.. So beware of those terrible translations.
I think in these days of internet sharing though many bible translations have cleaned up their ridiculously wrong translations. In even the recent past, books could say bizarre things and it be kept hidden pretty well.

Back to the point, the verse says that the authority is YHWH's servant for our good.. Now how can we interpret this to mean someone such as the current U.S. President Barack Obama when he mocks the Bible, mocks the Law of YHWH, and basically says a nation can not be governed by his instructions neither his Messiah's instructions.. Which if you know YHWH, then his blessed people were and are supposed to be governed by them and when the Messiah returns his kingdom will continue to be governed by them, YHWH's people and kingdom only faced problems and were destroyed and uprooted when they rejected his Law and did not let it govern them...

YHWH in his Law commanded this;

Exodus 22:28 "You shall not revile the elohim, nor curse the ruler of your people"

In context and understanding, we know this has absolutely nothing to do with any ruler of the heathen nations, it is about those whom YHWH appoints to rule over his people, his "kingdom", which is a kingdom with specific laws..

Now look at these words from Paul;

Acts 23:3 "Then Paul said to him, Elohim is going to strike you, you whitewashed wall! Are you sitting to judge me according to the law, and yet contrary to the law you order me to be struck?, Those who stood by said, Would you revile the high priest of Elohim?, And Paul said, I did not know brothers that he was the high priest, for it is written, You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people"

I find that verse significant in this matter since Paul is calling the high priest of YHWH a ruler of the people.
(Also while we are at this verse, I will mention, notice Paul is still obeying the commandments of the Law)

[I am still working on this misconception, I will update]

Pray for your leaders, but do not obey them over your creator.
The people of
YHWH are in exile in foreign lands, we already have a kingdom with a ruler, we are only waiting to be regathered to it.
