Romans 6:14 "For sin shall not rule you, for you are not under law, but under grace"
Just know "not under law" is not saying we are not having to obey the law anymore. We need to know what it means to be under law.
I will add to this soon, just getting started.
Our sins are not able to rule us anymore as we have been pardoned. Without that pardoning our sins would rule us as our conscience would be ruined and we would always be stuck with that awful feeling and not be able to face Elohim.
Also we would feel like we are as good as dead. We may even give up trying completely to follow righteousness in that state, and many people would just say "Oh well I am dead, I can now do whatever I want since it doesn't matter anymore", and that would increase wickedness very greatly, especially since we all have not been perfect from our birth.
Romans 6:15 "What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!"
Romans 6:16 "Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as servants, you are servants to the one whom you obey, whether you are servants to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?"
